Just some quick news for those subscribed to FTPLT updates…
I departed San Diego in late August and have steadily made my way east. I’m currently in Colorado Springs, Co.
If you’d like to see a map of my stops — and my current status — this information is not available on the main page of FTPLT.com.
The Lessons Learned From The Path Less Traveled Project officially kicked off about 2 weeks ago when I started my first interview sessions with a family living off-grid in the backcountry of Colorado. I’ve since had another session with an aspiring author in Denver.
I’m very encouraged by the content I’ve captured so far and very enthusiastic about the future of this project. That said, I do have plans of creating a Kickstarter for this project in the coming weeks — after some proof-of-concept content has been posted — so that I can hopefully get some financial support.
As of today, my biggest challenge is assembling the footage I’ve captured for both the video documentary series as well as audio for the Lessons Learned From The Path Less Traveled Podcast while simultaneous traveling and capturing more content. It’s a challenge I’m looking forward to dealing with.
I’ve been posting photos to my Instagram and also started a vlog, which is featured on my ZDXP youtube channel. As this is my first experience vlogging, there’s a lot of room for improvement. But as I discuss in my book, if you want to get good at something, you have to be willing to be bad at it first. So this will be a record of my effort in gaining experience and getting better at something that I’ve wanted to do for quite some time.
Ok, this is all I have for now. I should have some more news for you soon.
Thanks for reading.
